My personal Dead framework for decision clarity.
The Dead Framework: A Simple Way to Make Meaningful Decisions
Dead framework helps me with my life full of choices, big and small. Needing to make constant decisions, I / we often wonder if we are making the right one and fall under the „grass is greener…” bias. Making any decision i would like for it to lead to growth and make me not regrets. It is my simple personal decision-making method I call the Dead Framework. I use it to make decision that will build me something to last as long as possible.

Dead Framework two important questions
- Will I regret this when I am dying?
This question invites you to think about the long-term impact of your choice. If the answer is „yes,” meaning you won’t regret it, the decision passes the first test. It asks you to prioritize choices that matter deeply and align with your values. - Is it ambitious ?
Here, ambition means the choice should stretch you a bit outside your comfort zone—something that requires effort, learning, and personal growth. It should also hold the highest moral and ethical standards used to build a better world for all. If your answer is „yes,” you’re setting yourself up for improvement and development.
If both answers are yes, then the decision is worth pursuing in the name of the force.

Dead framework assumptions and where is the catch
- The first question helps to filter out fleeting distractions or easy immediate comforts that won’t provide lasting satisfaction.
- The second question pushes you to grow and prevents stagnation in what’s comfortable but unchallenging. Ambitious should be virtuose. You don`t bring others down, You work hard and climb up by yourself. This is the truly positive ambition in my opinion.
- When in doubt think what would Obi Wan Kenobi do 🙂 Don`t succumb to the dark side.
- If You fail, make a BAD DECISION, something goes south or sour You can always adjust. Only a cow or a donkey don`t change their mind. Be mindfull of the process.
- Do not hurt, gaslight or bring others down, You should try and uplift everyone with your decisions.
- Those questions should help balance the decision living a happier life with continuous personal development.
Of course, this framework depends on having a positive outlook on life and common sense. Ambition without grounding or foresight can lead to reckless decisions, while avoiding any challenge stalls growth.

Example on how to use the dead framework
Before saying “yes” or “no” to anything important, pause and reflect:
Example 1 – very simple
Should i ask the girl out ?
- Will i regret that ?
- Positive outlook: At the end of the life we could be a great pair and have a wonderfull life.
- Negative outlook: We will get a divorce and i will be ruined. But i can remedy a lot of that risk, it is NOT the default setting 🙂
- Is it ambitious ? Yes, i will have to man up, find the courage and then learn on how to make a great couple. I will hold high moral standards for me and hole her accountable to those also. It will require work but nothing that is of value comes easy.
As You see everything required positive thinkng cause otherwise there is no point in leaving home. In the end i can always said „At least i tried and faild”. Most people never even try.

Example 2
Should i read the book ?
- Will i regret that ?
- Positve outcome : The book is of the subject i would like to learn, i will be able to improve my life based on knowledge, it will be something that will stick with me to my grave. I cannot fathom regreting learning anything
- Negative thought : I will waist time and not learn anything of value. Even if i won`t lear i maybe at least be strengthened in convictions i already have.
- Is it ambitious ?
Yes, it will develope me and help me to make a better world cause i will be able to handle myself and thing with better care for me and others.
Example 3
Should i go to the gym ?
- Will i regret that ?
- Positve : I hit the gym and i was healthier for my old age, it helped me to enjoy my life more and be a happy person that helped others and spread the joy of life.
- Negative : I had an accident from overtraining and i limp on my leg – simple remedy to just learn how to train less extreme.
- Is it ambitious ?
- Yes, it build discipline, knowledge about eating, food, diets, anatomy, metabolism and more. Ethically doing this will require the above, without using any kind of 'easy’ sumplements like steroids. You want muscle, You build them slowly. In ambitious aproach there are NO SHORTCUTS. You need to do it the righteous way, all the way.
